The location is right by the beach which is fantastic!
Its our first time in Port Douglas and this beautiful apartment felt correct. The interior looks the same as photos. Its modern, clean and all the comforts of home. Its spacious as well and had adequate facilities should you wish to have a quiet night in. The location is right by the beach which is fantastic, and a good 500-800meter walk to the centre of Port douglas where all the action is. We loved waking up and having a swim @ the beach or walking around the lookout+town. Greatly stock with beach towels & little details to make your stay extra comfy.

We would highly recommend beach retreat 2 and would definitely come back again.
We highly recommend staying at Beach retreat holiday apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, relaxing on the balcony, swimming in the pool and we appreciated the well equipped kitchen complete with Nespresso machine. The location was perfect. It was a short stumble across the street for beautiful sunrises over the ocean and stunning evening beach walks along four mile beach. Also only a small stroll to reach the main streets of Port Douglas. The interior is thoughtfully designed, advertised photos are a current and accurate representation of the property. The swimming pool and facilities were all well maintained and inviting. All aspects of the apartment were of a very high standard with welcoming touches throughout. We would highly recommend beach retreat 2 and would definitely come back again.

Our stay at Beach Retreat 2 was incredible!
Our stay at Beach Retreat 2 was incredible! Possibly one of the most stylish apartments in Port Douglas, it is light and spacious and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The bathroom has a double basin with fabulous lights for makeup. The bed was so comfortable and we had a restful nights sleep. The kitchen has all you need, including a Nespresso machine and ice maker in the refrigerator. The location is amazing, a very short walk to the pool and barbeque area and about 50 metres from the beach. You can park your car here and walk everywhere in Port Douglas as it is also a very short walk to the main street, Macrossan St. We enjoyed our mornings having coffee on the terrace overlooking the beautiful tropical garden. I cannot recommend Beach Retreat 2 enough and can highly recommend! Our travelling companions stayed in Beach Retreat 1 and their apartment was also gorgeous. It was so great to be able to stay close by with friends, with all the privacy and comfort you could ever need. We can't wait to return sometime again soon!

Breathtakingly beautiful, convenient and feels like home
This totally renovated Port Douglas unit is breathtakingly beautiful, convenient, and feels like home! We have stayed twice all the way from the east coast of the USA and hopefully can return again! My kids as young adults really loved the boogie boarding at the nearby beach and exploring the bunch of great local restaurants in town. The place is near the water and so close for memorable day trips for snorkeling at the reef by boat and by sail! There is no comparison to this exquisite unit to relax and enjoy the precious present moments of life!”
